About Mr. Spruill

My roots are right here in our local community. I grew up in Hollister and Roanoke Rapids, NC, and I even have fond memories as a former student at William R. Davie when I was studentl! My journey has always been guided by a passion for learning, which led me to become a proud graduate of the illustrious North Carolina A&T State University, where I earned my degree. Aggie Pride!

My path to the classroom was a unique one. After college, I briefly attended law school, but I quickly realized my true calling was not in a courtroom, but in a classroom. I began teaching in 2023 and have loved every minute of it. My goal is to create a space where students feel challenged, supported, safe, and inspired to become lifelong learners.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy writing, watching sports, and spending time with family. I look forward to a wonderful and productive school year with all of you!
