My name is Coach Deontre Pittman, and I am proud to serve as the Physical Education & Health Teacher, Athletic Director, and Head Football Coach at Northwest Collegiate and Technical Academy.
I am a graduate of East Carolina University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health. My studies allowed me to develop a strong foundation in promoting wellness, preventative health, and community engagement. These are values that I bring into both the classroom and athletic programs.
Beyond academics, I am a proud member of the Tau Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Through this brotherhood, I have continued to focus on leadership, service, and uplifting my community.
With nine years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them grow not only in physical skills but also in character, discipline, and resilience. My philosophy as an educator and coach is to create an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and motivated to achieve their personal best in both academics and athletics.
At Northwest Collegiate and Technical Academy, I strive to instill the importance of lifelong health, teamwork, and integrity. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in life, I believe that success is built on effort, respect, and a commitment to growth.
