About Me

Greetings Parents!

I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year!  I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and I have been teaching for over 20 years.  Teaching children is my passion.  My mother always told me when I was a little girl playing "school" with my dolls and stuffed animals, that I would be a teacher and she was absolutely right.  Personally for me, teaching is the greatest profession in the world.  I have a 16 year old son, Corey, who is a student athlete at Northern Nash High School and a fur baby, Bailey, who is my heart.  I enjoy spending time with my family and attending my son's games throughout the year. 

I'm passionate about creating a loving, safe, and inclusive environment, where every child feels valued and supported.  I have always been the kind of teacher that I would want for my son, and I want the best for him.  I will give my absolute best to your scholar each and everyday.  I will help all of my students learn and grow with confidence and I truly believe this will be a wonderful year!
