Welcome to the 2025-2025 school year. I look forward to an exciting school year and picking up where we left off last year. My classroom team consists of Ms.Brown, Mrs. Richardson and myself. We work interchangeably with me being the Lead teacher and facilitator. In addition to academics, which is teaching the Extended Content Standards using the Unique Learning System (ULS) curriculum, we take advantage of every moment depositing gold nuggets into my students personally, social and emotionally. 

     Although my students have disabilities, i do not want them to only be defined by them. My classroom is a place where they are encouraged to feel safe, cared about and free to disclose to us  if they are having a problem  or something is affecting them in an unhealthy manner. The students know that I have high expectations for them and I want them to be all that they can be now and when they move on and leave high school behind.  We make sure that they learn all about the environment around them and how they can  help their parents and help themselves as they are developing into adults. All students are encouraged to ask questions, participate in class and do their best work at all times. I am looking forward to lots of learning, smiles and feedback as well.
