About Me

Hello! My name is Analiza C. Iway, but most students know me as Miss I or Miss Iway. I am passionate about helping students grow in both confidence and skills as they explore the world of mathematics.

I graduated with a Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics from a university in the Philippines. Before moving to the United States, I taught 7th, 8th, and 10th grade math in the Philippines for about six years. This is now my third year teaching math in the U.S. During the 2023–2024 school year, I taught 6th grade math, and in 2024–2025 I had the opportunity to teach Math 8.

With each class, my goal is to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to see math as a powerful tool in their everyday lives.
