◎About whether the tour will be held or not

・The tour will be cancelled in the event of rain, fog, lightning, strong winds, etc. (implementation rate: approx. 65%).

・The final decision of the tour implementation will be judged from weather conditions 30 minutes before admission time.

・The tour may be canceled suddenly due to weather conditions or volcanic activity. 

・In the event of cancellation, no individual notification will be made. Please check “Online Reservation site for Owakudani Nature Trail Exploration.”

◎Registration

・A reception opens 30 minutes before anf closes 5 minutes before departure at the Owakudani Information Center.(https://www.hakone.or.jp/od-booking/map/)

・It gets very crowded just before the deadline for reception.

・Please allow plenty of time for your visit, as it's easy to get stuck in traffic in the Owakudani area and the ropeway will be crowded. (it may occur a traffic jam over an hour during weekends, national holidays, Golden Week, Obon, Autumn leaves season, and New Year's holiday etc.)

・If you don't show up by the deadline for reception, you cannot participate in the tour and your rights will be transferred to someone on the waiting list.

・Please note that a 800 yen per person fee.(Only cashless payment is accepted.) will be charged on the day of the tour.

◎Admission

・Please wear the helmets you received at the entrance.

・Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes that are easy to move as there are ups and downs in the trail.

・Bringing drinks to stay hydrated, UV protection, and wearing a jacket even in mid-summer is recommended.
