Women's History Month 2022

The 'Hidden Figures' of history

Women's History Month 2022 at Haileybury

Women's History Month is a chance to both recognise and celebrate the achievements of women throughout history. At Haileybury, we want to use this month to focus on those women who have been overlooked and even disregarded - whom we are labelling the 'Hidden Figures' of history. It is important that we celebrate women's history in an inclusive and intersectional way, taking into account the unequal progress that has been made, particularly in regards to race and class. We will be using this month to highlight the contributions of women across the world and over time, and we hope you will find the content engaging and informative.

Throughout the month you will find a number of podcasts appearing in the section below, consisting of short interviews with teachers from many subject areas on the 'Hidden Women' within their fields.
