Star Student of the Week!
In second grade, we enjoy spending time celebrating our similarities and differences. We seek to build relationships and learn more about each other every day. You will get a chance to be the Star Student of the Week. Please follow the schedule below.
Monday: Bring in your All About Me poster to present.
Tuesday: Bring in a prized possession. Be ready to share where you got it from, who gave it to you and why it is special.
Wednesday: Bring in a favorite picture book. Ms. Gill will read it to the class for Book A Day.
Thursday: Share your special talent with the class. Maybe you are a lego builder, rubik’s cube solver, magician, songwriter or artist.
Friday: Your parents or siblings can write a special letter to you. Ms. Gill will read these to the class. Usually students bring in two to three notes to share.
We are excited to celebrate you!
