First Grade Supplies

ELIZABETH HADDON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

2021-22 SUPPLIES

GRADE 1

Below is a list of basic supplies for your child. Please keep in mind that we will gladly supply any materials you cannot find or choose not to buy. Thank you!

FOR PERSONAL USE (please label with your child’s name!):

• Backpack

• 2 Zippered pencil cases

• Sharpened pencils for personal supply

• 2 plastic folders (each with two pockets on the bottom; not the side, no fasteners)

• 2 plastic folders with fasteners in center

• Box of 24 Crayola crayons (please limit to 24!)

• Colored pencils

• 2 large black Expo markers, chisel tip or bullet tip and low odor

• 4 LARGE glue sticks (.77 oz. size)

• 1 black and white marble notebook, wide-ruled

• 1 spiral bound notebook, 70 sheet, wide ruled

• 1 pair of child scissors (pointy not blunt)

• 1 thick yellow highlighter

• 1 old clean sock (to be used as an eraser for slates)

• Lunch box or bag for packing lunch

• Separate box or bag for morning snack

• 1 set of headphones labeled with your child’s name (no earbuds with microphones please. They must be left in school.)

FOR CLASSROOM USE (please do not label with your child’s name)

• Box of tissues

• 2 dozen #2 pencils, sharpened

• 1 roll of paper towels

• 1 package baby wipes

• 2 additional large black Expo markers, chisel tip or bullet tip and low odor
