Welcome Letter

I am excited to be starting my fourth year as Tatem's math specialist. I have been at Tatem for 26 years and have taught grades 1-5 in those years. I also taught in Fairfax County for 4 years and taught second grade there.  I love teaching and making a difference in each child's lives. 

I live in Chesterfield, NJ with my husband and my 2 children. I grew up in Merchantville, NJ and went to Bishop Eustace Prep School in Pennsauken, NJ.  My husband works for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in Princeton, NJ. We have been happily married for 23 years. My son, Ethan, is currently a junior at Purdue University studying Aerospace Engineering and my daughter, Audrey, is going to be a freshman at Northeastern University (NYC campus). We are going to be empty nesters this year. 

We were lucky to travel bit this summer. We got to Greece this summer and it was an amazing trip. We got to travel to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. The views of the Aegean Sea were just breathtaking and the food was just amazing. Then got to go for a few days to Puerto Rico with my daughter for some mother-daughter time before she heads to college. 

I love to travel and go to many places. My favorite place is the Beach and spending time in our condo in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Some of the places we have traveled to are Hawaii, Paris, London, New Orleans, San Antonio, California, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Greece and too many Caribbean Islands.  I love spending time with my family and hanging out with friends. I also love to take time and read a good book. I was lucky to catch up on some good reading this summer. 

I am huge sports fan and I love all my Philly teams and love to watch them play.
