Welcome Letter

I am excited to be starting my third year as Tatem's math specialist. I have been at Tatem for 25 years and have taught grades 1-5 in those years. I also taught in Fairfax County for 4 years and taught second grade there.  I love teaching and making a difference in each child's lives. 

I live in Chesterfield, NJ with my husband and my 2 children. I grew up in Merchantville, NJ and went to Bishop Eustace Prep School in Pennsauken, NJ.  My husband works for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in Princeton, NJ. We have been happily married for 22 years. My son, Ethan, is currently a sophmore at Purdue University studying Aerospace Engineering and my daughter, Audrey, is currently going into 12th grade at Northern Burlington High School. Can't believe I have one kid in High School and one already in college, time sure flies.

We were lucky to travel bit this summer. We got to go to Maui, Hawaii which is a favorite place of ours. We loved eating at the food trucks, drinking some good Kona coffee, zip lining and going fishing. It was a lot of fun. 

I love to travel and go to many places. My favorite place is the Beach and spending time in our condo in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Some of the places we have traveled to are Hawaii, Paris, London, New Orleans, San Antonio, California, South Korea, Japan, Italy and too many Caribbean Islands.  I love spending time with my family and hanging out with friends. I also love to take time and read a good book. I was lucky to catch up on some good reading this summer. 

I am huge sports fan and I love all my Philly teams and love to watch them play.
