We love to celebrate birthdays in our classroom! Due to the increasing amount of food sensitivities and allergies in our environment, we have decided to eliminate edible birthday treats in Haddonfield Public Schools. We will no longer permit cakes, cookies, cupcakes or any other edible treats in the school for birthday celebrations.

In first grade, you are welcome to be a special guest! You have the option to do a virtual read aloud or a read aloud in person on your child's birthday. Please contact me to set up a time that would work well in your schedule. If your child has a summer birthday we will celebrate it on his or her half birthday or a day in June. If you have any questions before your child's special day please do not hesitate to contact me.
