Welcome Letter

I am so excited as I can take my next step in my educational journey as the new math specialist for Tatem. I have been at Tatem for 23 years and have taught grades 1-5 in those years. I also taught in Fairfax County for 4 years and taught second grade there.  I love teaching and making a difference in each child's lives. 

I live in Chesterfield, NJ with my husband and my 2 children. I grew up in Merchantville, NJ and went to Bishop Eustace Prep School in Pennsauken, NJ.  My husband works for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in Princeton, NJ. We have been happily married for 20 years. My son, Ethan, is currently going into 12th grade at Northern Burlington High School and my daughter, Audrey, is currently going into 10th grade at Northern Burlington High School. Can't believe I have 2 kids in High School, time sure flies.

We were lucky to travel bit this summer. We got to go to Italy which was definitely on our bucket list and it was absolutely amazing.  We got to ride a gondola ride on the famous canals in Venice and visit some beautiful basilicas. In Rome, we got to see the Colesseum, the Vatican and eat some wonderful food in Rome. We ended our vacation in Sorrento and got to visit the Blue Grotto, shop in Capri, and got to see some breathtaking views of the water during our stay. We also did some college visits as my son is a senior this year.. 

I love to travel and go to many places. My favorite place is the Beach and spending time in our condo in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Some of the places we have traveled to are Hawaii, Paris, London, New Orleans, San Antonio, California, Italy and too many Caribbean Islands.  I love spending time with my family and hanging out with friends. I also love to take time and read a good book. I was lucky to catch up on some good reading this summer. 

I am huge sports fan and I love all my Philly teams and love to watch them play.
