Inclusive Leadership
This course aims to give managers a basic understanding of the principles of Inclusive Leadership and how to use them in daily practice
Cultural Humility (2023)
This course encourages managers to explore their own culture and understand what this enables them to understand, and not understand about others' cultures. Becoming more culturally humble enables us all to better understand and engage with our colleagues and the communities we serve. This training has been updated for 2023.
Recruiting and managing disabled staff
This course enables managers to recruit and manage disabled staff throughout the employee journey. It covers topics like the Social Model of Disability, appropriate language and sources of support.
Equality Impact Assessments
This course discusses outlines the key duties of public bodies under the Equality Act, in particular the requirement to take equality considerations into account when making decisions. The course includes useful tips when completing Equality Impact Assessments
Introduction to the Bystander Approach
An overview of the “Bystander Effect”, how it can prevent people getting the help they need and some of the techniques to combat it and ways to use the approach in the workplace as part of developing an inclusive culture
