Unified Sports joins students with and without disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. The team is open to all students regardless of athletic skill level. What is Unified Sports?

Unified Sports aims to foster equality and social inclusion by joining students with and without disability in athletic competition. By doing so, the program generates both friendship and understanding between students at every level. Unified Sports is open to students of all academic and athletic ability, and seeks to provide an opportunity to educate our students about social inclusion. 

Unified Sports teams consist of an even mixture of students with and without disabilities. Teams are designed to create a level playing field of ability, thereby keeping games challenging and exciting. By practicing and playing together, it is the mission of Unified Sports to grow a culture of inclusiveness within our schools through athletics. By forming meaningful friendships and creating opportunities for genuine athletic experiences, Unified Sports aims to help bring the world into the future of inclusion.

Unified Track is available for middle and high school students as well as Special Olympic athletes aged 8+.   Unified Partners will interview for a position on the team.
