OUR SCHOOL LIBRARY PRIDE, PASSION, PURPOSE

Our school library is scheduled flex-hybrid. ELA and other content teachers bring their classes in on a schedule that supports student learning goals each marking period. Ms. Carroll as information specialist and the teacher as content specialist work as collaborative partners. Additionally, all students have independent access to the library during the school day. Students learn how to use the library resources and other information literacy skills via appointments with their classes and/or with the demo videos on the library's YouTube channel.

SCHOOL LIBRARY HOURS

• Student walk-ins are allowed during the day based on the schedule that is posted weekly in Google Classroom

• Students also visit with their classes via appointment

• Students must always have a pass and a school ID

• Borrow print books (1 at a time)

• Borrow eBooks (2 at a time)

• Fun events and collabs with Johnson Public Library

• Research and learn about new things

• Get help with school topics and research skills

• Pickup black & white printing
