PRIDE, PASSION, PURPOSE

Our school library is scheduled flex-hybrid. ELA and other content teachers bring their classes in on a schedule that supports student learning goals each marking period. Ms. Santos, as an information specialist, and the teacher, as content specialist, work as collaborative partners. Additionally, all students have independent access to the library during the school day. Students learn how to use the library resources and other information literacy skills via appointments with their classes.

SCHOOL LIBRARY HOURS

Student walk-ins are allowed during the day based on the Library Calendar
Students can visit during their lunch/recess period
Students must always have a pass and a school ID

THINGS TO DO AT THE SCHOOL LIBRARY

Borrow print books (1 at a time)
Borrow eBooks (2 at a time)
Fun events and collabs with Johnson Public Library
Research and learn about new things
Get help with school topics and research skills
Help complete our school-wide jigsaw puzzle, be creative using low-tech arts and crafts,

We have over 400 eBooks in our library catalog! Search for eBooks by clicking on the search icon below or searching the library catalog.

IMPORTANT

We are a "no-fine" library for overdue books.

However, if you lose or damage the book, you will be responsible for a replacement fee.

HMS Mission Statement
