The mission of the Hackensack High School Library Media Center is to empower students to become curious, informed, and compassionate global citizens who think critically, create confidently, and engage responsibly with the world around them.

The Library Media Center is a welcoming and inclusive space where students are encouraged to explore ideas, pursue academic inquiry, strengthen literacy and research skills, and develop meaningful connections with literature, media, and technology. Through collaboration, creativity, and lifelong learning, the Library Media Center fosters a supportive community that inspires students to grow as readers, learners, and leaders.
