HACC Foundation donors provided funding to increase accessibility for those using assistive technology when visiting the hacc.edu website:
• Left-hand navigation was displayed on all webpages with the exception of the home page and a few special marketing webpages.
• Nearly 1,000 accordion panels are displayed in the body of 36 webpages on the HACC Foundation website and 118 webpages on hacc.edu,
HACC was able to hire a content management system vendor, who added the ability to tab through the left-hand navigation and the ability to tab through the page accordions. This update is a game-changer for all website visitors using assistive technology to navigate through our website. Visitors can now use the spacebar to tab through and select specific accordions and links. #HACCyeah
