Hello, HACC Hawks!
Welcome to the Hawks Corner! HACC is dedicated to providing news that matters most to you in an easy-to-read format. We will continue to share relevant information and keep you “in the know” as we serve and support you.
This newsletter is shared with all current HACC students.
Thank you!
Students who are eligible to graduate in the fall 2024 term and applied to graduate by Oct. 1, should have received the Commencement ceremony participation form in mid-Oct. from commencement@hacc.edu. HACC is very excited to announce that we will utilize Marching Order name pronunciation service for the Fall 2024 Commencement ceremony. The service will announce and display your name on the Jumbotron while walking across the stage. This is a service where professional voice artists will pre-record all participating students’ names.
If you plan to attend the Commencement ceremony, don’t wait to submit your participation registration form. In order to have your name called on-stage by the professional Marching Order service, you will need to submit the form, no later than 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 14.
If you do not plan to attend and do not wish to receive additional email reminders, you will need to submit the form and indicate that you will not attend.
You can view helpful “Graduate How to Videos” to help you prepare for graduation!
Please email commencement@hacc.edu with any questions.
Are emails from the HACC Foundation scams?
Emails about HACC Foundation scholarships and tuition giveaways are sometimes perceived by some students to be scams. These emails are real and legitimate. They are not fake.
When in doubt, please email giveaways@hacc.edu or HACCScholarships@hacc.edu, and we will verify the emails for you. These are real HACC email addresses.
Also, this webpage includes a list of actual HACC students who have received HACC Foundation scholarships and/or tuition giveaways:

In this day and age – with the increase in cyberattacks and scams – we understand the uncertainty you may feel when you receive these types of emails.
