Women's History Month is a celebration of women who have paved the way in the fight for women's rights and equality. It is also in fond recognition of women who continue to fight for other women to receive equal pay and affordable childcare and be seen as valuable contributors to our society. Here at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, we celebrate the contributions and excellence that women bring to the HACC community and the world at large. Together, through education, we will promote a world where all women are seen, heard and valued.

We’re celebrating 60 years of HACC, and you’re invited!
HACC is turning 60, and you’re invited to celebrate with us!
On Feb. 14, 1964, HACC became the first community college chartered in Pennsylvania. This year, the College celebrates 60 years of academic brilliance, community empowerment and countless success stories.
Please join us on April 12 at 5 p.m. at the Hershey Antique Auto Museum AACA in Hershey, Pa. to celebrate the 60th anniversary of YOUR favorite community college at a Diamond Anniversary Gala. You’ll celebrate how HACC has changed your life, have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind #HACCyeah experiences and connect with HACC supporters. The best part is… You’ll also raise funds for scholarships for HACC students.

Donors’ Impact on Academic Programs
HACC Foundation Donors Fund a FLEX Classroom
HACC Foundation donors provided funding for the Lancaster Campus FLEX Classroom project.
This funding enabled the College to build a FLEX classroom that provides the best learning environment for both in-person and remotely connected students - simultaneously. This classroom is equipped with a camera that allows for teaching from different angles in the classroom and tracks instructors as they roam across the front of the room. It is equipped with a microphone that captures audio from all classroom participants and includes a large display so that the instructor can see the remotely connected students from anywhere in the room. Additionally, there is a student-facing camera that allows remotely connected students to see the classroom as well as in-person students.
By creating this high-tech classroom, HACC can now provide instruction on multiple platforms and facilitate an easier transition for faculty. They are now able to adapt their classes to incorporate in-person and remote students into the same class.

Meet Steve: Actor in Hollywood
Yes, we said Hollywood! Steve Moulton, HACC alumnus, described his current job responsibilities as follows: “Open a script and turn its written words into a living character for stage and screen.” He graduated from HACC in 2003 with a degree in theatre and has since appeared in shows on Netflix, Peacock, Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Showtime.
