We’re #HACCproud of our students who enter the various healthcare industries. In fact, according to the American Dental Assistants Association, March 7-13, 2021, “has been designated by the American Dental Assistants Association as the perfect time to acknowledge and recognize the versatile, multi-talented member of your dental team.”
Kristianna, a HACC student, wants to bring happiness while encouraging others that there doesn’t need to be fear in the dental field. #HACCyeah, Kristianna!
The HACC Foundation has previously provided funds to benefit HACC’s dental clinic renovation to provide students with an education that focuses on best practices in the use of technology, equipment and procedures. By donating to the HACC Foundation, you can continue providing HACC students with an exceptional education.

A virtual exhibition of artwork created by students at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, will be on display April 21-May 6, 2021, on the Rose Lehrman Art Gallery’s webpage.
The exhibit will showcase hundreds of pieces produced by students enrolled in HACC’s art classes from the fall of 2019 through the spring of 2021. The collection covers a variety of art disciplines, including photography, computer art, digital photo imaging, three-dimensional and two-dimensional design, graphic design, drawing, painting, glass, ceramics and jewelry.
A virtual reception will be held April 29 at 5:30 p.m., where participants can meet and talk with students and employees. Awards will be presented during the reception at approximately 6 p.m.
The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. For information on how to join the reception and view the exhibit, please visit our website.
Please note that due to the global coronavirus pandemic, event details are subject to change. For more information, please contact Shawn Williams at 717-780-2478 or smwillia@hacc.edu.
The gallery received state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The last year has been challenging, to say the least. And yet, HACC alumni have continued to persevere and finish their degree, diploma or certificate at HACC.
As our current HACC students face similar struggles, we know they would be encouraged by hearing stories from recent alumni about how you are making it.
That is why HACC is launching a storytelling campaign featuring HACC alumni from the classes of 2019 and 2020. We want recent alumni to share stories about how they are thriving in the midst of the pandemic, the role that HACC played in their success and wisdom they have for current HACC students who may be struggling.
Will you be part of our campaign? If your answer is YES, please take these steps by April 4:
1. Record a short video about any or all of the following topics:
a. How you are thriving during the pandemic
b. The role that HACC has played in your success
c. Words of encouragement for current HACC students who may be struggling
2. Go to this webpage: http://bit.ly/submitOCAvideos
3. Complete the form and upload your video
4. Enter “Alumni Storytelling Campaign” for Description of Project
The video you share with us may be included in emails, e-newsletter articles, social media content and other communications and marketing pieces.
Thank you for being part of this special campaign! Your story will mean so much to students and other members of our College community.
Every two years, the HACC Alumni Association proudly recognizes exceptional alumni who inspire us with the Distinguished Alumni Award.
If you (or someone you know) exemplify the HACC "spirit" in their personal lives, professional achievements and community service, please complete a nomination form.
