HACC Ends the Wellness Screening Process
HACC’s wellness screening process ended May 29, 2021.
Although HACC is no longer providing wellness screening for those involved in on-campus classes or select student services, it is important to continue self-screening each day and evaluate how you feel.
If you are feeling any symptoms of COVID-19 or have had a fever over 100.4 degrees within 48 hours before coming to campus, please:
DO NOT come to campus
Notify the College by emailing corona@hacc.edu

Your safety will continue to be our top priority! Students are also encouraged to consider participation in the College’s One More Class initiative, which aims to shorten students’ time to graduation by having them take an additional course each semester.

New Student Orientation is a critical part of a HACC student’s journey to success and empowerment. Our job as a team is to move students through the enrollment process and ensure that they understand the steps needed to successfully enroll at HACC. Since the start of registration for the summer and fall 2021 semesters, we have served our students by offering a dynamic and informative program.
Here is what some of them had to say:
· “Before this meeting, I was very lost with what to do. After this orientation and navigation session, it made picking classes and everything 10x easier and fun.”
· “Everyone was very nice and helpful with providing me the right information and walking through the steps with me as well as answering the questions I had.”
· “As I am a guest student here and am attending a different university, this entire orientation was helpful as there are many things that are different compared to the university I attend now. Thank you!”
· “I thought the [Brightspace/D2L] new student orientation was beneficial for me because it was self-paced, which enabled me to complete the program in my free time and between school.”
· “I now feel more prepared to begin my education at HACC.”
We are incorporating students’ feedback in our assessment plans and enhancing our orientation offerings so that we can provide quality orientation services.
