Student Spotlight

Meet Jasmine: Future Licensed Counselor

Jasmine, a psychology student at HACC’s Lancaster Campus, will not let the obstacles in life stop her from getting her degree. Jasmine lives with a condition called spinal muscular atrophy, which weakens her muscles to the point where she requires 24/7 physical and mechanical assistance. Her journey may be different from those traveled by her peers, but Jasmine is motivated like many other HACC students to pursue her dreams no matter what.
