IT’S COLD OUTSIDE! Come join the Student Government Association for some winter fun. Take a photo in the giant inflatable snow globe and then stop by the lobby to enjoy the pancake bar and grab a cup of hot chocolate or coffee to warm up.

Global Coffee Hour
Wednesday, January 21 starting at noon
Join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through creativity and community. Enjoy free coffee and pastries while selecting an MLK quote and turning its message into a piece of visual art using a variety of materials, no artistic experience needed. The event will also include a screening of Selma, offering space to reflect on Dr. King’s impact and the continued relevance of his work. Stop by to create, connect, and engage with the dream in a meaningful and artistic way.

The bus trip is taking place on Friday, February 6, 2026 and will be departing from Harrisburg Campus, Parking Lot #2 behind Cooper Welcome Center. World Affairs Council's MLK Poetry & Storytelling Festival
Sunday, January 18 at 6 p.m.
The World Affairs Council of Harrisburg consistently recognizes the importance and significance of Martin Luther King Jr Day, and fosters community engagement through its annual celebration of the occasion. Each year, this organization brings together a diverse group of talented and passionate individuals, including local poets and spoken word artists who use their craft to pay tribute to the legacy of Dr. King. The commemoration is also marked by a unique poetry and storytelling competition that is open to high school and college students.
All are welcome to attend.

Ceramic Sculptures by Travis Winters
A lecture by the artist will be held at noon on Feb. 11 in Whitaker 214. The lecture will be followed by a reception with food at the gallery.
The exhibition will be on display in the Rose Lehrman Art Gallery at the Harrisburg Campus from January 20 through February 13.
The exhibit, lecture and reception are open to all students, staff, faculty and community members.

Hawk Festival
Tuesday, January 20 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Student Employment Program is proud to present an incredibly fun and engaging festival where you can come learn how to help pay for college and gain valuable professional experience through an on-campus job. You'll be able to connect with supervisors and departments, learn about opportunities to work and grow, apply for jobs, ask questions, play games, enter raffles, and win prizes, all in one place! There will also be a virtual version of this event running simultaneously with more information to come on how you can get involved!
All HACC students are welcome to attend!
