This month we learned about Elizabeth Blackwell, the first female doctor. Then the girls made models of a hand, using cardstock for the hand, straws for the "bones," and string for "muscles."

We also create a Valentine thaumatrope, which is an optical illusion created by drawing two different objects on each side of a disk or card. When the disk or card is spun quickly, the objects appear together. Check out the video below!
