At NGA, students have the opportunity to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Students must qualify for dual enrollment through placement exams, like the SAT, ACT or Accuplacer exam. Once students qualify and enroll in a dual enrollment classes, they will earn a grade that will be both displayed on their high school and college transcripts. Students and families are responsible for transporting the student to the college campus of their choosing, if they take on-campus classes. If students elect to enroll in online classes, they will work on coursework in the Media Center during one class period. Students and families are strongly considered to evaluate students' readiness, motivation and organization prior to enrolling in college classes. Please make sure to contact the post-secondary institution students plan on attending following high school graduation about credits transferring.
