The HNGA media program exists as the hub of the school itself; it represents the correlating and supportive component of the overall educational program. With flexible scheduling, through cooperative planning, and with an awareness of the curriculum, the school library media staff supports and extends classroom instruction while also providing a positive, safe learning environment.
The media center is a learning hub for the school community that would encourage teachers and students to collaborate, communicate, and share. Patrons are also instructed in the use of print and nonprint materials and are encouraged to access, evaluate, and utilize information. The school library media program also strives to instill in students a love of reading, both for pleasure and personal growth, as it strives to be transparent
Students may check out up to 2 books at a time for a period of 2 weeks. Students need to return books in a timely manner. Students will be responsible for reimbursing the cost of lost books or books damaged beyond repair.
Open from 7:35am - 3:15 pm
Students may come before first block, after they eat lunch, after school, and during class with permission from their teacher.
