About me

My name is Robert Isaacs. To my friends I am Bud, to my nine children, I go by Dad. My wife has many names for me; most of them are good.  I am a sixth generation Arizonan on both sides of my family, and grew up in North Mesa until my senior year of highschool when my family moved to the white mountains. I graduated from Round Valley high school, and attended NAU where I earned a BS in education. 

I love all things outdoors, and although I enjoy all aspects of Science, I have a special interest in geology.  I can usually  be found rock hounding or photographing when I am out and about, which is often. You are apt to find me fishing, hunting, hiking, cooking, camping,  or trail riding.  You will probably even see me teaching, but you will always find me learning.
