School Bus Service
For the coming school year we are offering the long-established school bus lines, and we are proposing a new line for the Mogliano Veneto area. We have also rearranged some of the routes in order to improve the service. The specific routes and schedules are available in this document. You can check the exact position of the bus stop by clicking on it: a Google Maps web page will show you the geographic coordinates.
The annual price per student is based on an estimated minimum number of students per line. The bus services will be available from 5th September 2023 until 21st June 2024.
List of routes:
Green Line - return at 16:35 (Treviso centre): 1,900 euro/passenger (with onboard assistant)
White Line - return at 17:15 (Treviso East): 1,900 euro/passenger (with onboard assistant)
Important news: to allow our PYP students to participate in team sports and for our MYP and DP students who wish to stay in Campus a bit longer, we have rearranged the afternoon schedule to Treviso, with one bus leaving at 16:35 and the other one at 17:15, the latter replacing the 15:30 route. In case this new schedule clashes with your daily organisation, we encourage you to contact the Student Office to explore possible solutions together.
Blue Line (Padova): 2,500 euro/passenger (with onboard assistant)
Pink Line (Spinea-Martellago-Mogliano Veneto): 2,400 euro/passenger
Yellow Line (Noale-Preganziol-Quarto d'Altino): 2,400 euro/passenger - 500 euro/passenger from Quarto d’Altino railway station
Purple Line (Conegliano-Treviso North ): 2,950 euro/passenger - 1,900 euro/passenger from Treviso North
Red Line (Venezia P.le Roma): 2,400 euro/passenger (with onboard assistant)
Orange Line (Mestre): 2,400 euro/passenger (with onboard assistant)
Gold Line (Cavallino-Jesolo Lido-Jesolo): 2,400 euro/passenger from Cavallino/Jesolo Lido - 1,900 euro/passenger from Jesolo
Teal Line (Oderzo - Ponte di Piave - Fossalta di Piave): 2,800 euro/passenger from Oderzo/Ponte di Piave - 1,500 euro/passenger from Fossalta di Piave
Please be informed that these lines will be confirmed once a minimum number of subscriptions is reached depending on the line - the cost indicated has also been calculated on the basis of a minimum number of passengers. Otherwise, the cost will be recalculated based on the actual number of passengers confirmed.
Some lines may be merged or not activated, and some stops may be cancelled if no student is interested. We will inform you about any change that should occur.
An onboard assistant is required if an EYU student younger than 6 years old is on board: should you wish to enrol your EYU child in one of the routes with currently no onboard assistant, please contact the Student Office as soon as possible.
The buses have different capacities depending on the line, and seats on the bus are assigned according to the date of the registration to the service. Our partners are ATVO and Vianello.
The bus timetable is carefully scheduled considering a maximum travel time of 1 hour per route.
Payments
As we did for the past years, a discount of 25% is applicable for one-way use of the bus service. For families with more than one child discounts are as follows:
10% discount for the 2nd sibling
15% discount for the 3rd sibling onward
The payment of this service can be made in one single instalment by 30th September 2023 or in three instalments: 30th September 2023, 30th November 2023, and 31st March 2024.
For boarding students, the service is included in the fee to allow them to arrive on Monday morning and to go back home on Friday afternoon. Please, complete the registration and then send us an email indicating on which day(s) the student will take the school bus. Sunday transportation service will be communicated separately by the Boarding staff.
Registration and school bus App
At this link you can register for the school bus service by 18th August 2023. You will be able to register for the service also during the school year, provided there are places available on the lines.
Log in with your email address and select “School Bus” (at the bottom of the page, below “Enrolments” and “Extra activities”). Choose the line you want to confirm, and please note that, just like for the yearly school enrolment, the parent indicated as “Parent #2” must confirm their acceptance of their child’s use of the service by clicking the “Opt in” button in the email that will arrive directly to their email address.
The school bus transportation service is managed by the School Bus Tracker App, available for iOS and Android. At this link you will find a letter with all the details and at this link a short user manual. Your child will also receive a bus badge that they will need to use every time they get on/off the bus. This is very important for the good functioning of the service, as it allows us to keep track of attendance on the bus, and allows parents to monitor the position of the bus when it is in motion and to check when the student arrives at school or at the bus stop.
New families: during the New Students Day we will host a specific session about this, to help you using the app.
Authorisations
Please note that a PYP student is under no circumstances allowed to get off the bus independently. The only exception applies when a child (who is at least 6 years old) is allowed to leave with a sibling who is 14 years of age or older. Please fill out the form below to give your consent:
MYP students aged 11 to 14 may get off the bus independently with prior authorisation by filling out the form below:
MYP Students younger than 14: Authorisation to independently use the school bus service by a minor younger than 14 years old (valid for MYP from 1 to 4)
Should you wish to authorise an adult (babysitter, grandparent, family member, family friend etc) to collect your child at the bus stop for the whole year, please contact the School Office.
Occasional authorisations may be granted as needed, by providing an ID of the pick-up authorised person.
Public transportation
The public ATVO and MOM bus lines reach the campus directly with 2 dedicated bus stops: one is located at the roundabout of the road next to the parking lot (MOM, ATVO 25a), the other is inside the campus parking lot (ATVO 22).
ATVO line 22: San Donà – Ca’ Tron – San Cipriano – Treviso
ATVO line 25a: San Donà – Airport Venezia Marco Polo – Mestre - Venezia
MOM line 108: Treviso – Jesolo Lido
