Welcome to Ms. Smith's
Grade 3 Classroom Website
Welcome to our Grade 3 classroom, where learning is active, engaging, and filled with discovery. Throughout the year, students will explore literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies through hands-on learning, meaningful conversations, creative projects, and real-world experiences.
More than anything, our classroom is a community. We treat one another with kindness and respect, celebrate effort and growth, embrace challenges, and encourage one another every step of the way. Every day is an opportunity to ask questions, build confidence, make lasting friendships, and discover the joy of learning.
"In our classroom, we believe every child can learn, grow, and succeed. We lead with love, treat each other with kindness, and work together to build a safe, supportive space where everyone can do their best and feel proud of who they are."

About Ms. Smith
I’m so happy to be your child’s teacher this year. I’ve spent over 20 years in education, and I believe there is nothing more rewarding than helping young learners grow and thrive.
I was born and raised in beautiful Cape Breton and now live in Alberta, where I’ve built a wonderful life with my family. Teaching elementary is a joy; these are such important years, full of curiosity, creativity, and discovery.
I know that every child can learn when they feel safe, supported, and inspired. We will work hard to create a classroom where everyone feels they belong, where learning is fun, and where every success, big or small, is celebrated. I value open and honest communication with families and know that together, we can make this year a great one.
