Teaching is a gift, Reaching students, learning from students makes me a better person. I believe that every voice should be heard. My classroom is a safe space for young people who have questions about complex issues regarding American History. I am guided by the SC Curriculum Standards, and the AP Course Outline. The responsibility of a public educator is to bulid students into citizens who participate in a Democratic Society. The Republic for which we stand is incumbent on that basic tenant. I take my job seriously, and pledge to guide students to become the very best version of themselves.
