Throughout each injury unit, once students learn about the applicable injuries, they will learn how to protect and support those injuries to enable the individual to go back to their desired activities.
Learning anatomy and evaluation skills are difficult, so in this course a variety of methods are used to help students take the information off the written page into creative ways of learning.

About me
I have been a Certified Athletic Trainer for over 20 years working with athletes in Physical Therapy clinics, club sports, collegiate athletics, and semi-pro football. For the last 17 years I have been teaching Sports Medicine, Health Careers, and Health at the high school level while also being their full time athletic trainer.
Athletic Training is an amazing profession because I get to work with amazing and dedicated athletes and coaches. When someone gets injured I am able to be there from the moment of injury and help get them back into action.
Here at RTC I teach Sports Medicine and Medical Terminology.
