Mrs. Day, Librarian
Before I became the librarian at Pinecrest Elementary School, I taught grades 1-3 for 14 years in two different states. I am originally from Ohio, lived in Savannah, Georgia for 7 years and then moved to Greenwood, South Carolina in 2013. I met and married my husband, David, while living in Savannah. We have two sons. We share our home with Vera the cat and George (Weasley) the red-eared slider turtle.
One of my favorite parts about being a teacher was when I introduced students to great books. Now I am able to do that with the whole school! I also love working with technology to enhance learning for both teachers and students. Aside from my interests in books and technology, I also love music, being crafty, and spending time with my family.
