I am originally from Rock Hill, SC. I attended Lander University and received my bachelor's degree in Special Education.  After graduation, I decided to stay in Greenwood and have worked in GWD 50 ever since. 

This will be my sixth year at Emerald High School. Before Emerald, I also worked at Brewer Middle School. I recently received my master's in School Psychology from Francis Marion University and moved from the role of a teacher to a school psychologist. 

I enjoy traveling, hiking, spending time with my dogs, and crafting in my free time. I also enjoy movies and listening to music. 

My main goal is to support teachers in developing students' skills that will promote success in the real world. All students can grow and better themselves each day. I will also grow along with them and am dedicated to lifelong learning.
