About Me

Fun Facts About Me

My name is Angela Bridges and I teach 8th grade mathematics here at Northside Middle School. I am from North Augusta and moved to Greenwood to attend Lander University. I competed on Lander's Equestrian team and still enjoy competing in the sport. I am happily married and have a daughter, a cat, two dogs, a bearded dragon, and a salt-water coral reef fish tank (we love animals).

Education Background

I attended Lander University for my undergrad. I earned a Bachelors in Science in Special Education with an add-on of Elementary Education. My Special Education degree certifies me to teach children with disabilities that are mild to moderate in grades k-12. My Elementary degree certifies me in core subjects and general education curriculum in math, ELA, science, and social studies in grades k-6. I have my middle school math certification in general mathematics curriculum grades 7 - 9. I am also certified and have taught Gifted and Talented in mathematics along with being certified as a teacher mentor. I have a Master's Degree in Executive Leadership (administration) from Western Governor's University. Currently, I am working to become a certified Literacy Coach as well.
