Class overview
The Chorus is made up of boys and girls that study a variety of music. Focus will be placed on proper vocal production, sight-reading, diction, music theory, and functioning as a musical ensemble. The Chorus meets daily for 9 weeks.
As this is a very different school year than normal we will not have live performances until a later date.
About me
I have been teaching school for 31 years this year. I have been in middle school for all of those years although I have also taught elementary as well. My interviewer all those years ago asked me why I wanted to teach. I remember my response like it was yesterday because it is the same one I would give today. " I want to make a difference in the lives of children. I want them to learn music but more than that, I want them to become good and productive people."
