K Vamsi Durga Prasad (15131A04A4)
Greetings to All!
Happy Engineers Day to all of you. Let us read through a Transformation & success story of an Engineer K Vamsi Durga Prasad (15131A04A4), Proud Alumni of Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (A) (2015-19 Batch). He has served as a volunteer from his first year and acted as president for WeR4Help social Group in the academic year of 2018-2019.
He shared his transformation story with CFSR. Read through:
"I am not interested in the technical side but I didn’t know what I wanted to be. After joining this social group and when I was working for this group, I learnt so many things like how to handle the team and how to communicate with the people. I understand my skills and my passion. I worked on my passion but due to some reasons I failed in technical interviews in the campus placements. Then, I came for training in iBHUBS and chose my passion there and I underwent a training program of CCBP for 1 year (Continuous capacity Building program) . At starting, I am in the CCBP LEVEL 0 and now I am in CCBP LEVEL 3 . In August 2020 I am selected in iB HUBS with a package of 8.4 Lacs per year. My role is Business Developer. I am very happy to share this journey and transformation with you. He also expresses that he can be reached for any sort of career guidance. His official contact is 6304489473".
"CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU Mr K VAMSI DURGA PRASAD ON YOUR ACHIEVEMENT"
Now I write to inform you all, that the very important decision he has taken is to take training with iBHUBS. This training has lasted for one year during June 2019 to June 2020 and he has gone through many evaluations during the training.
So here decision making is the key component played. I strongly feel that his journey of volunteering along with his regular academics has led him to choose his passion towards management and stick to one organization.
Hoping for many successful transformational stories from you.
Wishing you all the best

Mr. K. Naveen (14131A0819)
Greetings!
Today I take this privilege in writing this mail which describes the Journey of a Volunteer from Empathize to Excel. He is Mr K. Naveen, 2018 Passed Chemical Engineering Student. Very recently in the process of exploring the role of student volunteering during the 4-year stay of an aspiring engineering student, I conversed with many volunteers over the phone in this lock down period.
Discussion with one student volunteer Mr. K. Naveen (14131A0819) revealed how his volunteering has enabled him to crack an HR interview. I am trying to mention the words spelt by him by 4 E's. Please read through:
Empathize:
In his first year, he has seen his seniors volunteering for the betterment of society and interacted with final year students. By seeing the service rendered by them to the society he also got interested and continued communication with them.
Engage:
In his second year he joined YES social club with an intention that youth play a major role as change makers to the society. He started involving in initiatives by YES team. One of the activities are preparing jute bag with the used clothes. They involved SHGs in preparing these bags.
Execute:
In his third year level, he made a big leap in organizing events with minimum efforts. The major breakthrough he brought in the college was ROLE PLAY on ROAD SAFETY which made all students staff and faculty serious on the safety while driving on road. He has successfully led a Medical camp in Venkatapuram Village
Excel:
In Fourth year, he directed the student Volunteers of YES team to continue with the activities. He received BEST VOLUNTEER certificate in this stage.
How his role of volunteering helped him in cracking a HR interview:
In attending a job interview with Tech Mahindra one year ago i.ie in 2019, HR personnel specifically emphasized on the statement Best Volunteer, YES team of CFSR mentioned in his resume.
HR has specifically given a task to him based on this achievement
- If you are given with a team of 100 members and finish a job, what is your approach?
- Mr Naveen has answered that he will divide the task into sub-tasks, then delegate to small groups, monitor regularly, if needed he will also be a team member and work.
Kudos to Mr K Naveen Kumar for your excellent volunteering and wish you all the very best in all your future endeavors.
I thank the then faculty coordinator Mr. N Ch N Suresh who has led YES team.
It is my responsibility to express my sincere thanks to the Management, PRINCIPAL, DEANs, HODs faculty and staff for the continuous encouragement and support.
