Aimee Kilgore

HEAD COACH (Girls)

The 2017-2018 school year will mark Coach Kilgore's fourth year at Guyer and 2nd year as Head Girls Coach. Aimee is from Amarillo, Texas and grew-up with a strong West Texas basketball influence and philosophy. She played basketball in high school at Canyon-Randall and in college at Angelo State University. Coach Kilgore is certified in Special Education, Physical Education and Family and Consumer Science. She teaches Partner PE. She loves that every day she gets to come to work where the bottom-line is the “KIDS!”

Prior to joining the Lady Wildcat coaching staff, Coach Kilgore spent 19 years working in corporate America in various management roles. She is the proud wife of Hobert Kilgore III, a

Special Education teacher and girls coach at Crownover MS, and mom to Kason and Braydon. AND, the daughter of an amazing MOM, Cathy Roberts, who can be found at any gym Guyer is playing in with Braydon not far behind.

Lisa Williams

VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH (Girls)

Lisa Williams is in her 19th year of coaching, and her second at Guyer High School. She is a native of Amarillo, Texas where she played for and graduated from Amarillo High School. Coach Williams played collegiate basketball at Odessa College winning an NJCAA National Championship. Later, she played at the University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP) majoring in Business Management and graduating on the Dean's List. After a few years in banking, Coach Williams began her coaching career in Amarillo, Texas before moving to Denton, Texas.

Because of her passion for the game, she has coached several youth basketball teams in the community. She also serves as a Denton Youth Basketball Board Member and the DYB Girls' Commissioner. Coach Williams teaches Physical Education and coaches Lady Wildcat Basketball.

Jake Floyd

JUNIOR VARSITY COACH (Girls)

Coach Floyd is in his 12th year of teaching and this is his first year at Denton Guyer. Raised in Garland where he played basketball and golf at South Garland High School, he attended Texas

A&M University and the University of North Texas before beginning his career in Denton at Strickland Middle School. He has spent the last 7 years as a football, basketball, track and soccer coach in Frisco.

Coach Floyd teaches Sociology and World History. He is married and has two daughters at Nelson and Crownover that are excited to eventually be Lady Wildcats.

Erin Hardin

FRESHMAN COACH (Girls)

Coach Harden is a native of Lake Dallas, 3 yr lettermen in basketball and volleyball. She attended Texas Women’s University, receiving a bachelor of Science in Community Health. After college she was hired as a teacher aid, working at Ann Windle, Wilson, and Pecan Creek elementary. In 2007 McMath Middle School where she taught 6th grade science and coached volleyball, basketball, and track. In 2012, Coach Harden joined the wildcat family as a freshmen basketball and volleyball coach, this is her 11th year teaching and coaching in Denton ISD.

Kaylee Fifer

FRESHMAN COACH (Girls)

Coach Fifer, a native of Guyer High School, will serve her first year as a volleyball coach for the Lady Wildcats in the fall of 2017. Kaylee graduated from Guyer High School in 2010 and was a part of the first team to earn a ticket to the playoffs. In addition to three years of playoff action, Kaylee was named to the TGCA All-Star Team her senior year, was on the TGCA All-State Conference 4A Team three years in a row, nominated as the All-Area Setter of the Year two times, and All-Area/All-District MVP in 2008. After representing Guyer, she received a full scholarship to play volleyball and attend Colgate University in Upstate New York. While at Colgate, Kaylee was a four-year letter winner, served as the team's captain in her final two years as a Raider and gained the Patriot League Championship Title and first NCAA Tournament berth for the University in 20 years in 2012. After graduating from Colgate in 2014 with a B.A. in History and Studio Art, she moved back south and attended Texas Christian University where she worked for the volleyball program, both indoor and beach, and went back to school to obtain another degree. While serving as the graduate assistant for TCU, Kaylee was able to learn how to coach and mentor athletes at a high level, attend a NCAA tournament as a coach and receive her Master of Liberal Arts degree by 2016. Upon graduation, Kaylee then moved back to Denton as a full-time Volleyball Assistant for the University of North Texas, playing a role in the program’s recruiting, player development, budgeting and summer camp organization. Currently, Kaylee has decided to make the coaching move to high school where it all started for her. Kaylee will be teaching within the Art program at Guyer.

ATHLETIC TRAINER

Coach E has been teaching for 3 years with his last 2 years being at Guyer where is teaches PE and Athletic training. He grew up in the Dallas/Fort worth area and attended Fossil Ridge High School where he played football, track and soccer for 3 years. He graduated from UTA.
