The process simulation consists of the representation of an object of study in this case the process drawing of the mineral processing plant using mathematical models with the objective of obtaining mass balances and the operating conditions of the process being useful for the equipment sizing of crushing, grinding, classification and flotation operations.
Once the various elements that make up the process design and the different alternatives involved in the design procedure have been analyzed, it is necessary to establish the relationship between them and their optimization before making a decision on the chosen process, quantifying the variable indicated by the proper operation of the process using simulation tools.
