I was born and raised in the city of Claremont. I come from from a family of teachers, and always knew that I wanted to follow in their footsteps! When I was in college I took a history class with a man who helped President Reagan build his Presidential Library. After hearing endless fascinating historical stories that semester, I knew that I wanted to teach history one day, and pass those stories along.
This will be my 5th year of teaching at Hoover! During my time here I have taught Human Geography, World History, AP World History, psychology and sociology, and coached the boys Varsity soccer team. I am very excited for the upcoming school year, and hope to help all of my student's achieve their academic goals, as well as return some normalcy to their lives! :)
I attended the University of La Verne on an academic scholarship, where I completed my Bachelors degree in History, my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Science, and my Masters in Educational Technology. I finished at the top of my class, graduating with Departmental Honors and Cum Laude. While at ULV I was also a collegiate soccer player, competing in the NCAA.
In the Summer of 2022, I enrolled at California Lutheran University where I began my Preliminary Administrative Services Credential.
