What is ABCD?
Project ABCD is funded by California's Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) program. Students who participate in the program have the opportunity to attend a camp at Camp Hollywoodland in Glendale, free of charge!
At camp, students learn how to analyze the tobacco messages they see on TV and in magazines and to be aware of the dangers of using tobacco. Students will use what they learn at camp to draw and produce their own animated cartoons, creating anti-smoking advertisements, and short films on their own. Students will also design an advertising and marketing campaign using software and technology to spread the anti-tobacco message.
