Class Information

For homework assignments I use a 5 point grading scale for each question in a rubric format. The rubric is attached to the assignment when it is posted so students can view what is needed for each slide to get full points. I look for students to show me their thinking in their answers by backing up their claims with evidence and/or reasoning. This not only helps them start to explain their thinking, but helps me see how they think so I can correct any errors in logic that they may have. Below is a sample rubric for a question.

Note: If students work is copy pasted from Google or somewhere similar they automatically get a zero for that question.
