Hi Parents,
Here are the activities, practice sheets and resources for the last week of June. Wow, we are in July now and time is flying by so quickly. Please make sure to sign up for SEESAW, as I send out mini activities through this site. Zoom will be on Wednesday at 11 and I might add another day depending on how many more kiddos join our group. So far, we have five girls. If you need anything please email me. Thank You, Mrs. Norma
Here are some online songs, activities, and book readings that I thought the kids would enjoy:
This is my favorite activity. Go to the grocery and gather various “breads from around the world” such as naan, cornbread, tortillas, matzo, pita, scones, etc. Introduce the name of the bread and from which culture it originates. Then invite the children to taste it.
Talk about the traditions of those cultures. Maybe even make your own bread together. I love this learning activity because it brings in the senses and is truly hands on. If you don’t have access to the breads, then seek out images from a library book or the internet.

SETTING UP YOUR DOLL BATH STATION FOR PLAY:
I used a dollar store kitty-litter basin for the baby-bath, and set up a tray with everything the Hooligans would need to bathe their babies.
THE TOOLS:
I set out sponges, baby wash cloths and hand towels, toothbrushes, spray bottles, a soap pump (filled with soapy water) and a couple of travel shampoo containers filled with watered down shampoo and conditioner.
Pool Noodle Water Wall
To make this water wall, you will need just 3 supplies:
3 or more pool noodles (ours are from The Dollar Tree)
zip ties
peg board (we got ours at Lowe’s for around $6)
You can create your pool noodle water wall however you’d like! Feel free to follow the pattern we did or just make up your own. Once you’ve decided how you want the pool noodles to go on the pegboard, just use zip ties to attach the noodles to the board.
