Gurusmaraka Vaidhyasala was proudly founded by K Govindhan Vaidhyar in the quaint village of Kaithepalam, near Pampady. After years of dedicated service, it blossomed and relocated to Pampady in 1948, continuing its legacy of care and healing. Following his remarkable 14-year tenure, Smt. Chinnamma Govindan took the helm in 1962, endearingly known as Kumarakam Chechi to the community. Under her nurturing leadership, the vaidhyasala flourished and became synonymous with her name, evolving into Kumarakam Chechi's Vaidhyasala. 

For the next two decades, Smt. Chinnamma Govindan served with remarkable distinction until 1982, when her daughter, Smt. Bhaimi Narayanan, took charge. Upholding the cherished legacy of Kumarakam Chechi, Smt. Bhaimi Narayanan devoted an impressive 37 years as the principal vaidhya, becoming the heart of this beloved establishment. 

Today, as the proud fourth and fifth generations of doctors, we are honored to carry forward the esteemed legacy of our ancestors through Gurusmaraka Vaidhyasala. We remain deeply committed to serving the community with the same passion and traditional expertise that has defined our family's practice for generations, ensuring that our guiding principles continue to thrive.
