Planning

Learning is planned to ensure good progression across the subject. Long Term Planning grids show the learning that will be taking place throughout the year and demonstrate the clear learning paths that pupils will follow.

All planning in DT is split into 4 key areas of researching existing products; Designing and planning products; Making and constructing products; and Evaluating products. DT topics across all year groups follow this pattern of plan, make, do and review.
