Inclusion

In Design Technology we have integrated a range of strategies into the lesson structure and delivery to support the inclusion of all learners within learning. This ensures that all of the children at Gurnard Primary School receive a broad and balanced curriculum that is suitable to the needs of all.

Photos 1 and 2 show children learning a variety of stitches in sewing so the learners can select the stitch that they feel most comfortable using.

Photos 3 and 4 shows children in KS2 working collaboratively on projects allowing learners to bring their own strengths to a project.

Photos 5 and 6 show how children use a variety of methods to plan designs including the use of the CAD programme TinkerCad and using IsoSketch tools to draw 3D sketches
