Here's how to do this:
- At the top of your Drive, there is a Search bar that says 'search Drive'.
- Here, you can simply type in the name of the file you are looking for and it should pop up.
- However, if you're like me, you don't always remember what you named your file. Click on the arrow on the right of the search bar.
- The box shows up with all the items you could use to help you in your search.
- I find the most useful the TYPE and the OWNER. I usually can find anything I need filling in those two items.
- Another tip is to look at LOCATION.
- You do have the option to add any or all of the other items to help narrow down your search.
However, if you know the names of files, you simply have to search for this and Google will find it if it's in a team drive (that you belong to) or your own drive!
