3 Great Things You Didn't Know You Could Do in Google Slides!! (Last one next week!)

You can publish your slide show in many different formats!

1. Open Google Slides
2. Go to FILE - DOWNLOAD AS and then select the format you'd like.
   1. Microsoft Power Point (.ppt) - yes, you can download that Google Slides presentation as a PPT file.
   2. ODP Document (.odp) - If you don't have word, there is an open source free software called OpenOffice. This is the format you will download as.
   3. PDF Document (.pdf) - You can save your slide presentation as a PDF document
   4. Plain Text format (.txt.) Plain text is text without formatting.
   5. JPEG image (.jpg) - Save each slide as an image file. Remember, you'll only be saving the current slide. You'll have to do this for each slide.
   6. PNG image (.png) - Save each slide as a png image file. Again, remember you'll need to save EACH slide separately.
   7. Scalable Vector Graphic (.svg) - These files are graphics files which can be edited in many of the Adobe graphics products including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other graphics softwares.

Another thing you may not know you can do in Google Slides is to print your slides in similar ways as PowerPoint. Do you want to print out slides with places for kids to take notes? Other setups? Here's how!

1. Go to FILE – PRINT SETTINGS AND PREVIEW.
2. On the top, you’ll see some options.
3. Where it says – 1 SLIDE WITHOUT NOTES, click the arrow.
4. Now you’ll see a bunch of options for printing!
5. You can also choose either landscape or portrait mode too!
