Adding Resources Calendars and Other Calendars

You may want to add Resource Calendars to your calendar list in order to check availability of the resource. If you want to use a resource and it's already booked, go check with the teacher who has the resource checked out to see if you can work out a solution. Otherwise, you'll need to find a different time and/or day!

To add resource calendars:

1. Go to OTHER CALENDARS and click the small arrow on the right on that tab. A drop down appears.
2. Go to Browse Interesting Calendars. Here there are lots of calendars you can add, but to get to our Resource Calendars, click the MORE button at the top.
3. Once you've clicked MORE, you'll now see RESOURCES FOR GUNNISONSCHOOLS.NET. If you are in your personal account, these WILL NOT show up!
4. The resources are listed by building so look for your building and click on it.
5. Once you do, all the available calendars will show up and you have the option to SUBSCRIBE or UNSUBSCRIBE from any calendar you wish!
6. Go back to calendar and you can see all the calendars you now have.

Another helpful tool is turning on and off calendars in your list! You can also change the colors of your calendars.

1. To turn calendars on or off, simply click on the calendar on the list. There is a color associated with each calendar. If you click on this color, the calendar will either appear or disappear on your view.
2. If you have a lot of calendars selected, click on the little arrow on the right side on the calendar you'd like to view by itself, and then click DISPLAY ONLY THIS CALENDAR. This will turn off all the other calendars. To get the other calendars back, simply click on each one you'd like to view.
