We've looked at forms before - even the new quiz feature. Here are details on how to make quizzes (that will grade for you) happen!! Here's the VIDEO!!

Make an Answer Key

You can assign point values to any question type, except grid questions.

1. To add a question, click Add question .
2. Fill out your question and answers.
3. In the bottom left, click Answer key.
4. Choose the answer or answers that are correct.
5. In the top right of the question, choose how many points the question is worth.

To edit the question or answer options, click Edit question.

Choose what people see after they submit their answers.

You can choose what people can see during and after they submit their answers:

• Missed questions
• Correct answers
• Point values

To change options:

1. In Google Forms, open a quiz.
2. At the top right, click Settings .
3. Click Quizzes.
4. Under "Respondent can see," check the boxes next to the options you want.

See summary of quiz results

1. In Google Forms, open a quiz.
2. At the top, click Responses.
3. Click Summary.
   • To look at individual responses, click Individual.

Grade individual responses

If you collect email addresses, you can assign points and leave feedback on individual responses to send later. After you grade a response, be sure to save your changes.

1. In Google Forms, open a quiz.
2. At the top, click Responses.
3. Click Individual.
4. To move between responses, click Previous or Next .
5. Find the question you want to grade.
   • In the top right, enter how many points the response earned.
   • Under the answer, click Add individual feedback.
6. Enter your feedback and click Save.
7. To save your changes, click Save.
8. When you’re ready, you can email scores to individuals.

Grade question-by-question

You can grade responses at the same time for all questions except Grid questions.

1. In Google Forms, open a quiz.
2. At the top, click Responses.
3. Under "Responses," click Question.
4. To award points for a group of answers:
   • Full points: click Mark correct
   • Partial points: type in the number of points you want to award
   • No points: click Mark incorrect
5. To add feedback for a question, click Add feedback.
6. To move between questions, click Previous or Next .
7. When you’re done grading, at the bottom, click Save.

Send results via email

If you collect email address in your form, you can hold onto results until you’re ready to share them.

Step 1: Collect email addresses

1. In Google Forms, open a quiz.
2. At the top right, click Settings .
3. Under "General," click Collect email address.

Step 2: Choose when to release grades

1. At the top right, click Settings .
2. Click Quizzes.
3. Choose an option:
   • Immediately after each submission: Choose this option if you want people to get their results right away.
   • Later, after manual review: Choose this option if you want to email results to people later.

Step 3: Email results

There are two ways to send email scores to respondents from the "Responses" section.

From the "Summary" tab

1. Click Summary.
2. Scroll down until you see "Scores."
3. Click Release scores.
4. Check the boxes next to who you want to email.
5. Click Send emails and release.

From the "Individual" tab

1. Click Individual.
2. At the top right, click Release score.
3. Check the boxes next to who you want to email.
4. Click Send emails and release.
